System Requirements
You must have a 802.11g wireless network installed at home. Typically this is either a wireless router or an access point. The range and suitable locations for the mobile adapter (See specifications) depends on the signal strength of the wireless network.

If you ship to iCallmp3 the mobile adapter, we will configure the adapter for your wireless network at home. If you are in Seattle, you may drop it off at our offices. During this promotion, we will waiver the $20 set up fee. So act soon!

For optimal mobility of the gizmo and if you wish to remove the tangle of cords, consider using a SunRocket organizer box. All you do is connect one power cord from the box to an available electrical outlet.

A nice feature is the flashing light indicator on the Uniden phone indicating you have new SunRocket voicemail messages.
Occasionally, you may need to reset the indicator - when the phone is in standby mode, press and hold {find handset} on the
base about 5 secs. until the paging sound stops.
Important - familiarize yourself with SunRocket's emergency 911 service. If you plan to travel with your mobile SunRocket, please read this information first.
Enhanced 911 calling is now enabled for the majority of SunRocket customers, and will be extended throughout all SunRocket service areas by mid-summer 2005. Anyone who signs up for a SunRocket phone number,
but lives outside of the traditional region associated with that phone number will generally receive “non-enhanced 911 calling”.
Fax SunRocket: A fax machine can be hooked up to the gizmo on the Phone1 port located on the back of the device. ( Do not use the
internal software modem in your computer. Instead connect an external modem, eg. US Robotics 33.6 faxmodem, to the
SunRocket gizmo, and don't forget to configure the faxmodem via your computer's Control Panel ).
During a power outage, use the mini phone to make an emergency phone call by hooking it up to a regular telephone outlet. Without power, the SunRocket gizmo will not work.
